I was hungry for the arms of nature. I wanted to live as close to nature as possible as when I lived in my cow camp in Duval on the open range. Cows and horses could come to my door and ask for something to eat as though the children of the wild, and to shelter on a freezing winter night. – Ricardo Moreno Beasley
